• Must never have participated in a previous national Miss USA Pageant.

• May only compete in one Miss USA State Pageant (including the District of Columbia) per pageant year.

• All Miss USA Contestants must be at least 18 years of age and under 28 years of age before January 1, 2022 

• All Teen USA Contestants must be at least 14 years of age and under 19 years of age before January 1, 2022

• Must be a female citizen of the United States and at least one of the following must be true;

 -Must now reside in their state as their permanent and primary residence for a period of at least three (3) months immediately prior to  the beginning of their state pageant (although they may have attended college or University elsewhere)

 -Must have resided in their state as a full-time student at a college or university for one entire semester immediately prior to the  beginning of their state pageant, and they are continuing to reside in their state as a full-time student (although they may have spent  or be spending the summer in another state).

• Must not be married, never have been married, and never have had a marriage annulled. Must never have given birth to a child, can not be pregnant or be a parent.

• Must agree, that if selected a titleholder during the Miss Topaz State Pageant, they will participate in that pageant, and will abide by all the rules and regulations governing that pageant, at MISS Utah USA or MISS Utah TEEN USA 2021.

• Delegates will submit age documentation (Birth Certificate) & Proof of Residency (2 forms)

• Crowned TEEN & MISS division will earn a sash and crown and move forward to compete at Miss Utah USA & Miss Utah Teen USA. MAY 27/28 2022*

• For every 10 contestants, per title, a full entry will be paid in full to Miss Utah USA & Miss Utah Teen USA! Crowned winners will be responsible for $500 of entry fee if there are less than 10 contestants in her division. 

• Miss Utah USA & Miss Utah Teen USA entry fee is $1399.

• If you need to work out a payment plan for our prelims, just let us know!

• The only mandatory date is March 27, 2022. There are events leading up to the pageant that are OPTIONAL.

• White, Gold or Silver opening number cocktail dress (Embellishments may be rose gold, gold, silver, clear crystal stones, pearls and/or ab stones)

• Interview ensemble

• Active Wear/Swimsuit

• Evening Gown

Accommodations: We understand that there is travel required. When you register as a contestant, we will have a rideshare/carpool list that you can sign up for! We know several of you will be traveling and driving down. This could help offset costs. We are also working on a room block at a host hotel. You may also sign up to receive a roommate! Our staff will also be able to do pick up and drop off to the airport for a $20 flat fee.

Entry Fee: TWO OPTIONS: $250 + sell 15 tickets OR $450 FLAT FEE

(Selling tickets is a way for your friends and family to support you! They do not need to attend)

If I don't win the preliminary pageant, can I still go to Miss Utah USA & Miss Utah Teen USA?

YES! We strongly encourage it as well! You will have experienced a near duplicate competition At Miss Topaz State USA as Miss Utah USA & Miss Utah Teen USA. By competing at our prelim, you are already ahead of the game! All contestants will receive $200 off entry at the state pageant by just competing at Miss Topaz State USA! You will also earn a free hour of coaching from the Miss Topaz State director. 

 

Do I have to be a "pageant girl" to compete or have experience? 

Absolutely not! A preliminary pageant is the perfect way to gain experience before competing at state level. We are not looking for a perfect 10 either. We take your scores and notes and groom you to be your best at state, regardless if you take home a title or not!

How much are tickets?

We will have two tickets available. VIP and General Admission. General Admission is $22

​

I don't have a lot of time with school and work, will I be able to hold a title? 

Yes! Your education is first and foremost! We teach you time management and work around your schedule. However, If you take a title at a Topaz State Pageant, it is mandatory that you compete at the state pageant in *MAY 2022

​

Are there any height or weight requirements?

No! DNA Productions is looking for a young woman who is confident in her own skin, no matter their shape, size or height.

Are there any sponsorship opportunities to help offset costs?

Yes and we strongly encourage searching for them. These can be your family members or local businesses in your community.  Please contact our office for ad placement on our social media. We also give $50 off your entry for every contestant you refer to compete! Sign up at the same time with your bestie and you both receive $50 off entry.
